A founding partner of the firm, Mr. Kirkpatrick has been involved with governmental relations and public policy for over 30 years. He served as both legislative assistant and administrative assistant to United States Senator Russell B. Long from 1979 to 1987. He has been actively involved in numerous political campaigns both on the state and national levels. Mr. Kirkpatrick practices at both the state and federal levels, with particular emphasis in the fields of taxation, healthcare, foreign trade, and insurance.
